TUESDAY, OCTOBER 9
Arrested Berry Ingesoll of New Douglas for driving while license revoked. He posted bond and was released.
Officer handled a two-car accident at Route 4 and Central Avenue. Both units were towed from the scene.
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 10
Officer was called to the 300 block of South Main for two dogs attacking another dog and later killing it. The owner of the dogs was issued citations for dogs running at large.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 12
Larry Jackson was issued two warning tickets: one for the accumulation of junk and garbage and another for an unlicensed camper.
Kim Ashmore was issued a warning for two vehicles as a nuisance at 207 Trolley.
Handled a child custody issue in the 300 block of Berry Street, Mt. Clare.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 14
Officers were called to Capone’s for a disturbance, but both parties had left prior to officers arrival. They were later located and Shauna Whitten of Brighton was arrested on a Macoupin County warrant. She was unable to post bond and was taken to jail.
Officer took a report of a stolen cell phone. The phone was later recovered in Gillespie.
Officer took another report on the same stolen cell phone from earlier. It had been found that changes had been made to the phone and they attempted to make purchases from the phone on the owners accounts.
Took a report of reckless driving in the 300 block of West Walnut. Charges are pending.
