Beth Louise Niehaus, 53, of Butler, IL died Sunday, April 24, 2016, at 5:23 a.m. at her residence in Butler, IL. She was born on September 7, 1962, in St. Louis, MO to Walter David Kroeger and the late Jeanine Rose Stamer Kroeger.
She married Dennis Lee Niehaus on November 15, 1986, in the Good Sheppard United Church of Christ in St. Charles, Missouri. Beth attended Blackhurst Elementry School in St. Charles and graduated from St. Charles High School with the Class of 1980.
Beth proceeded to Southwest Missouri State in Springfield, Missouri where she received her bachelor’s degree in geography in 1985. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Litchfield.
She currently was a programmer at WSMI radio in Litchfield and formerly a travel agent at Kitty Hawk Travel. She was a longtime member of Mt. Olive Turner Hall. She loved solo country cruises in her car taking in nature, enjoyed NASCAR with her husband Denny, loved spending time and socializing with family and friends, watching sad movies that always made her cry and spending time and camping at their lot on Lake Lou Yaeger. Beth was an avid Cardinal fan and loved Yadi.
Beth leaves behind her husband, Denny Niehaus of Butler; father, Walter Kroeger of St. Charles, MO; two brothers, Chuck (Laura) Kroeger of St. Charles and Tim (Christy) Kroeger of St. Charles, MO; four sisters, Amy (Roger) McMahill of Loveland, OH, Ann (Dan) Pacewic of Collinsville, Jill (Mark) Wooldridge of St. Charles, MO and Jane (David) Hopkins of St. Charles, MO; and many, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jeanine Rose Stamer Kroeger.
A celebration of Beth’s life for family and friends will take place on Saturday, May 21, 2016, beginning at 3 p.m. at the Mt. Olive Turner Hall located at 307 West 2nd South Street in Mt. Olive.
Memorials are suggested to Mt. Olive Turner Hall, Trinity Lutheran Church of Litchfield and Good Sheppard United Church of Christ, St.Charles, MO.
