Adam Louis Brown, 29 of Staunton, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Community Memorial Hospital in Staunton. He was born on July 31, 1992, in Litchfield a son of Jim and Leanne (Wray) Brown.
Adam graduated from Staunton High School Class of 2010. He later graduated from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville Class of 2015. He worked as a bartender at Skeeter’s Bar in Staunton.
He is survived by his parents, Jim & Leanne Brown of Staunton; two brothers, Andrew (Allie) Brown of Staunton and Eric Brown (Surbhi Jain) of Coralville, IA; paternal grandmother, Mary Lee Brown of Staunton and maternal grandmother, Joy Wray of Staunton; two aunts, Lisa (Ken) Simpson of Sunset Hills, MO and Cindy (Joe) Pirok of Staunton; uncle, Louis (Lori) Wray of Lake St. Louis, MO; nephew, Jack Brown of Staunton; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James Brown, and maternal grandfather, Louis Wray.
Friends may call on Saturday, November 6, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Staunton. A memorial service will follow at 12 noon at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Staunton with Pastor Debbie Jo Atkins officiating.
Burial of cremains will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. Memorials are suggested The National Kidney Foundation, Adopt-a-Pet in Benld, or to The Staunton Education Foundation. Williamson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
