Dorothy Stearns, 89 of Staunton, passed away on Wednesday, February 10 at Heritage Health Staunton, unrelated to COVID-19. She was born on August 15, 1931, in Kansas City, MO. She was married to Vernon Stearns who proceeded her in death in 1988.
She was a factory worker until she retired in 1989. She was the proud mother to five daughters.
She is survived by her daughters, Susan (Mike) Arnold, Toni Jenkins, Janet (Richard) Rogers and Lilli (Alan) Sirko; grandchildren, Shaana (Kenny) Gray, Brian (Ashley) Arnold, Jennifer (Louie) Stumpe, Andrea (Eldon) Fritz, Stacy Manley, Trisha (Justin) Knop, Erik Jenkins, Braydon Jenkins, Vernon (Tami) Rogers, David (Jill) Rogers, Stevie Hokhold, Cindi Sirko, and Katie Sirko; and several great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was proceeded in death by her daughter, Connie Buchholz, and son-in-law, Ed Buchholz.
No memorial services will be held at Dorothy’s request. Williamson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
