Michael Alan Fahey Sr., 75 of Bunker Hill, died at his residence on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at 3:20 p.m. He was born on May 20, 1945, in East St. Louis, IL to Bernard Fahey and Martha (Hays) Fahey. He married Kathy (Rickert) Fahey on June 25, 1964, in Belleville.
He was retired after having been a physical therapy assistant for home health. Michael was a lifetime member of the Alton VFW Auxiliary.
He is survived by his spouse, Kathy Fahey of Bunker Hill; sons, Michael Fahey Jr. of Wood River and Mark Fahey of Holiday Shores; brothers, Pat (Jean) Fahey of Millstadt and Bernie (Betty) Fahey of Fairview Heights; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents.
Private services will be held. Memorials are suggested to OSF Home Health & Hospice or American Cancer Society. Kravanya Funeral Home, Bunker Hill is in charge of the arrangements.
