Michelle Marie Logue, 69 of Hamel, formerly of Mt. Olive, died on Sunday, September 13, 2020, at Christian Northeast Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born on March 13, 1951, in Litchfield to the late Thomas Unger and Theresa Zippay Pazero.
She married William Nolan Logue on September 26, 1970, at the White City Motorcycle Club in White City. Michelle attended Mt. Olive Grade School and graduated from Mt. Olive High School with the Class of 1969. She was a firefighter, EMT, and paramedic for 38 years before retiring from the Alhambra/Hamel Ambulance. Michelle loved traveling with her husband and spending time with her family and serving her community.
Michelle is survived by her husband, William Nolan Louge; son, Charles (Christy) Logue of Staunton; two sisters, Patricia Unger Barto and Jo Ann Pazero Painter; step-sister, Sherry (Don) Hittmeier; brother, Johnny Pazero; six grandchildren, Darrell ( Morgan) Logue, Harley Logue, Dusty Nolan, Kyle Ballard, Matt Ballard, and Danielle Trimm; and three great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Olivia and Ayden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Kenneth Pazero; daughter, Kristen Logue Wood; and step-brother, Pete Pazero.
Memorials are suggested to the family c/o Becker & Son Funeral Home, 221 S. Poplar, Mt. Olive, IL 62069. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Becker & Son Funeral Home, Mt. Olive, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
