Rebecca “Becky” Lori Brandt, 37, of Staunton, IL, died in St. Jacob, IL on Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at 7:16 p.m. She was born on July 9, 1977, in Alton, IL to Steven Jarman and Maret Weare. She married Joe Brandt on August 25, 2001, in Bunker Hill, IL.
She was an assistant project manager for Korte & Luitjohan Contractors in Highland, IL and enjoyed reading books and her family. She had the best heart and loved helping her kids with school work.
She is survived by her father, Steven (Betty) Jarman of Worden, IL; mother, Maret Weare of Staunton, IL; spouse, Joe Brandt of Staunton, IL; children, Jonathan Brandt and Adrienne Brandt; grandmother, Wanda Jarman of Bunker Hill, IL; several nieces and nephews including Christian Howell, Laura Moore, Cameron Dorn, Claire Dorn; siblings, Holly (Greg) Moore of Staunton, IL, Lisa (Tony) Dorn of Chesterfield, MO, Tiffany Jarman of St Louis, MO, Missy (John) Holmes of Chickamauga, GA, Matthew (Samantha) McCormick of Wood River, IL; father in law, Walter E. Brandt of Worden, IL; brother in law, James Brandt of Worden, IL; sister in law, Kathy Brandt of Plainview, IL and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lloyd Jarman, Margaret Young, Arnold Weare; uncle, Edward Weare; mother in law, Mary Brandt and cousin, Erin Jarman.
Visitation services for Becky will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2015, at Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services are on Monday, February 9, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill, IL with Rev. Jeremy Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Bunker Hill Cemetery in Bunker Hill, IL.
Memorials are suggested to Becky Brandt Children’s Fund.
