Shelby Jean Masinelli, 84 of Staunton, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021, at Heritage Health in Staunton. She was born on January 9, 1937, in Staunton, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles & Julia (Smith) Broderick.
She married Robert Masinelli on April 4, 1959, and he passed away on June 6, 1986. She worked at Home Health Aide Community Care in Jerseyville for many years.
She is survived by two daughters, Chris (Mark) Bryan of Staunton and Lori (Howard) Zenner of Staunton; son, Bob Masinelli of Staunton; three grandchildren, Danny Randle of Staunton, Sam Bryan of Staunton, and Kelli Zenner of St. Louis, Missouri; brother, Charles Broderick of Benld; and several nieces and nephews.
No visitation will be held. Public graveside services will be held Thursday, January 14, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton. Memorials are suggested to Staunton Helping Hands/Food Pantry, post office box 111, Staunton, IL 62088. Williamson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
