Timothy A. Crane, 51, of Bunker Hill, IL, died at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, IL on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 12:50 a.m. He was born on November 22, 1962, in Staunton, IL to Ernest Edward Crane Jr. and Shirley Ann (Hollandsworth). He married Kathy (Markle) Crane on September 26, 2002 in Wilsonville, IL.
He was a social worker for Eden Village Retirement Center in Glen Carbon, IL. Timothy was a member of the Boy Scouts and Activities Association. He enjoyed painting, cooking and scrapbooking. He was an executive chef at Holiday Inn where he did ice sculpting and was the previous owner of Holly’s Restaurant in Staunton, IL.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley Ann Dustmann of Prairietown, IL; spouse, Kathy Crane of Bunker Hill, IL; children: Krystle (Michael) Burney of Honolulu, HI, Cassie (Shawn) Radae of Bunker Hill, IL, Kelley Parker of Coffeen, IL, Jayson Forbes of MS, Arwen (Ben) Gingerich of Warner Robbins, GA, Cara Winchester of Springfield, IL; 13 grandchildren and sibling, Christopher Crane of Prairietown, IL.
Timothy was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Edward Crane Jr., stepfather, Lorie Dustmann, brother, Michael Crane and grandmother, Dorothy Hollandsworth.
Visitation services will be on Friday, October 31, 2014 at Life Harvest Church in Wilsonville from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral services are Friday, October 31, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Life Harvest Church in Wilsonville, IL with Pastor Sharon Archer officiating. Burial will be at Prairietown Cemetery in Prairietown, IL.
Memorials are suggested to wishes of the family. Kravanya Funeral Home, Bunker Hill, IL is in charge of the arrangements.
