Shirley Ann Dustmann, 77, of Dorsey, died at Elmwood Nursing and Rehab in Maryville on Thursday, May 4, 2017, at 12:04 p.m. She was born on January 7, 1940, in Mt. Sterling, MO to Louis Hollandsworth and Dorothy (Holzschuh) Hollandsworth.
She married Loris Dustmann on August 24, 1973 in Prarietown. He preceded her in death on December 24, 1991. Shirley was a graduate of Worden High School with the class of 1958. She was a retired mother and housewife who had worked for a Savings and Loan Co in St. Louis, Madison County Chronicle and Walmart in Glen Carbon.
Shirley was a member of the St Peter’s Lutheran Church, Prairietown and was a St Peters Ladies Aid. She liked to cook and garden.
She is survived by her son, Chris Crane (friend, Evelyn Keller) of Dorsey; grandchildren, Michael, Tiffany, Stephen, Cassie, Krystal, Holley and Amber; six great grandchildren; sisters, Vera (Frank) Eckhardt of Worden and Elaine (Joel) Compton of Carrabelle, FL; numerous brothers and sisters in law; sisters and brothers in law; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; spouse; and sons, Michael Crane and Timothy Crane.
Private family services will be held. Memorials are suggested to Kravanya Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
