The Gillespie High School baseball and softball teams are well represented on the South Central Conference all-conference teams that were announced on Thursday, June 2.
Players on the softball team received the highest honors after three were named to the first team. Junior pitcher Addison Bryant, sophomore catcher Mackenzie Kasarda and sophomore infielder Rylee Sarti represented Gillespie on the SCC first all-conference team.
Second team all-conference of Gillespie included freshman infielder Rylee Jarman and third team all-conference for softball included sophomore pitcher Sydney Henrichs, senior infielder Beth Fields and sophomore outfielder Ally Clay.
The baseball team didn’t receive any first team honors, but fared well between the second and third teams. Senior outfielder Blake Middleton and junior infielder Tate Wargo were both named to the South Central Conference’s second team and senior catcher Eli Fox and infielder Owen Carter were named to the conference’s third team.
