FRIDAY, APRIL 5, 2019
Jason R. Darte, 41, of Gillespie was arrested for disorderly conduct. He was transported to the Macoupin County Jail.
An officer was dispatched to the 900 block of South Macoupin Street in reference a domestic dispute.
An officer was dispatched to FasMart in reference to a check fraud report. This case is under investigation.
Briana L. Kuhlman, 18, of Gillespie was issued citations for possession of cannabis and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
SATURDAY, APRIL 6, 2019
Kody D. Holt, 28, of Mt. Olive was arrested on a warrant out of Macoupin County for leaving the scene of an accident and driving while license is suspended. The male subject was unable to post bond and was transported to the Macoupin County Jail.
An officer was dispatched to the 200 block of Springfield Road in reference to a truck that had damaged a power line.
William C. Geiser, 53, of Gillespie was issued a citation for a dog running at large.
Jason S. Price, 41, of Mt. Clare was arrested for domestic battery and resisting arrest. He was transported to the Macoupin County Jail.
SUNDAY APRIL 7, 2019
An officer was dispatched to the Casey’s General Store parking lot for a fight in progress. All subjects had left the scene when officers arrived. This case is under investigation.
An officer initiated a traffic stop at Route 4 and Division Street in Mt. Clare. The vehicle’s registration was suspended for a mandatory insurance violation. The officer removed the plates and advised the owners to get proper paperwork and they would be able to get the plates back.
MONDAY APRIL 8, 2019
An officer was dispatched to the 200 block of West Spruce Street to take a report of a theft. This case is under investigation.
An officer was dispatched to the 200 block of East Oak Street for a domestic dispute. Carra G. Gray, 40, of Gillespie was arrested for battery and a warrant out of Montgomery County for failure to appear for meth manufacturing. She was transported to the Macoupin County Jail.
School Resource Officer was called to the high school office for a male juvenile who appeared to be intoxicated. An ambulance was dispatched and the juvenile was taken to the hospital for an evaluation. This case is under investigation.
TUESDAY, APRIL 9, 2019
Gillespie Police Department was notified of a domestic dispute in a moving vehicle on Route 16. Officers located the vehicle and made a traffic stop. After an investigation, it was determined there was no dispute.
Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Dorsey Road in Mt. Clare for a domestic dispute.
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 10, 2019
An officer was dispatched to the 700 block of West Oak Street for a domestic dispute.
An officer was dispatched to the police department to speak with two females who wished to report harassment.
Cole Y. Waugh, 36, of Benld was arrested on two warrants out of Macoupin County for failure to appear on bad checks. Male posted bond and was released with a new court date.
THURSDAY, APRIL 11, 2019
Shane S. Bell, 28, of Gillespie was arrested for possession and released pending crime lab results.
An officer did a well-being check on a female who was reportedly suicidal. The officer made contact with the female who agreed to go to the hospital for an evaluation.
An officer was dispatched to Moto Mart for a gasoline drive off. The officer was able to make contact with the subject, who returned and paid for the fuel.
School Resource Officer issued a female juvenile a citation for possession of tobacco products by a minor. Her parents were contacted.
Larry E. Conlee, Jr., 35, of Mt. Clare was arrested for possession of methamphetamine. He was transported to the Macoupin County Jail.
An officer was dispatched to the police department to speak with a female subject regarding a no contact/stalking order in the 300 block of Park Ave.
