Officer was requested by Madison County Sheriff Department to assist them in recovering some stolen items from a residence in the 200 block of West Charles Street.
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2020
An officer was dispatched to a business in the 900 block of North Hardroad, Mt. Clare for a report of a male with a knife. Kenneth J. Costello, 52, of Litchfield was arrested for aggravated assault. He posted bond and was released.
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2020
An officer initiated a traffic stop at Route 4 and Route 138 in Mt. Clare. Jennifer E. Lewis, 39, of Gillespie was arrested on a warrant out of Macoupin County for failure to appear on assault and was transported to the Macoupin County Jail.
An officer initiated a traffic stop at Mt.Olive Road and Edgar Street in Eagarville. Mitchela P. Zbornak, 30, of Gillespie was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine. She was transported to the Macoupin County Jail.
Paul J. Parise, 48, of Belleville was issued a citation for failure to report a traffic crash.

School Resource Officer reported a battery that took place at the Gillespie High School. A report was taken and DCFS was contacted
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2020
An officer was dispatched to Oak Street at Fulton Street for a traffic crash.
Brandy L. Rose, 32, of New Douglas was arrested for driving while license suspended possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was transported to the Macoupin County Jail.
Officer initiated a traffic stop on Dorsey Street at Second Street in Mt. Clare. Ellen M. Agerton, 63, of Clarksville TN, was issued a citation for speeding 45 mph in a 35 mph zone.

An officer was dispatched to the 100 block of South Macoupin Street to take a burglary report.
