The annual Veteran’s Day ceremony at Gillespie schools will take place on Thursday, November 10 starting with breakfast in the cafeteria from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. followed by a ceremony in the high school gymnasium at 9:45 a.m.
The event is open to the public and will feature the high school choir, high and middle school band, student council, National Honor Society, and FFA members.
High school guests are asked to park in the west parking lot off LJ Avenue across from the football field and ring the bell at the back door of the breezeway. Middle school guests are asked to park in front of the middle school and ring the bell at the middle school entrance. Handicap spaces will be available.
