LITCHFIELD— Victory Lane Ford recently presented the St. Clare Center Food Pantry in Litchfield with a check for $5,000. The check was a matching gift that represented every dollar donated up to $5,000 through Nov. 30. Gene Hebenstreit, owner of Victory Lane Ford, stated, “We were thrilled with the response to this challenge and I’m so pleased that people saw the need in anticipation of the holiday season and responded so generously.”
Endress added, “We are most appreciative to Victory Lane Ford for this generous challenge grant which enabled donors to double the value of their contribution. This year donors contributed a total of $10,612. With the $5,000 gift from Victory Lane, a total of $15,612 benefitted our food pantry. Thank you to all who contributed to help those less fortunate in our community.”
Neuhaus Heating and Cooling was the winner of the television that was donated by Victory Lane Ford. Every donor to the challenge who made their gift at Victory Lane Ford was entered in the drawing to win the television.
The St. Clare Center Food Pantry is located at 603 N. Madison Street in Litchfield and is a ministry of HSHS St. Francis Hospital. The pantry serves residents of Montgomery and Macoupin counties. For further information about the pantry call (217)324-2800.
