Staunton native Blake Kolesa joined Chicago lawn firm, Romanucci & Blandi LLC, according to a press release from the company on Tuesday.
Kolesa will work on complex litigation involving large-scale legal action with senior attorney Bryce Hensley and David Neiman. He earned a bachelor of science with a concentration in social policy at Northwestern University before graduating from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
Previously, Kolesa worked as a summer associate and law clerk for O’Halloran, Kossoff, Geitner & Cook and was also a law clerk at Durkin & Roberts. He was an extern for the Honorable Justice Michael B. Hyman in the Illinois Appellate Court, First District and the Honorable Judge Ceila G. Gamrath in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Chancery Division.
While at Loyola, he was ne executive editor of the Loyola University Chicago Law Journal, a fellow with Institute for Consumer Antitrust Studies, and participant of the Chicago Bar Association & Appellate Lawyers’ Association Moot Court Competitions.
