We would just like to extend our sincerest thanks and gratitude to the city of Gillespie, Mayor Hicks, Dan Fisher, Kevin Polo, the city council, Shari Albrecht and the MEDP, as well as countless others who helped secure the grant for the demolition of our old building. We’ve been extremely blessed with great members and a great community.
From day 1, our goal for Ageless was to help improve the community of Gillespie and Benld, and extend that help beyond the walls of our gym. We try to donate as much as we can, whether it’s our time or money. With the money we would have spent on the demolition (or a loan on demolition), we’ll instead use on expanding our facility and creating a new young entrepreneur’s club we’re sponsoring along with the MEDP for area high school students. We promise every penny we saved from the demolition we’ll be in some way reinvested in this community.
So once again, thank you to everyone who was involved in the long, sometimes frustrating process. We’d also like to thank the community for having the patience to look at those rundown buildings for almost 2 years.
