A judgment has been entered against the defendants in a forcible entry and detainer complaint filed in Macoupin County Circuit Court by Michael Rhodes against Eric W. and Lori L. Stauffer, Brighton. The court entered an eviction order last week giving the defendants until Feb. 28 to vacate residential premises located in the 400 block of Crestwood Drive in Brighton.
Gene Gahr has filed a forcible entry and detainer complaint against Katherine L. Gahr, Carlinville, seeking possession of residential premises located in the 400 block of Johnson Street in Carlinville. The suit also seeks a monetary judgment to cover the plaintiff’s costs for the suit.
Dana Haab, Bloomington, has filed a forcible entry and detainer complaint against Sandra Rongey, Staunton, seeking $1,200 in alleged unpaid rent, plus damages and court costs, along with possession of residential premises located in the 100 block of East Fourth Street in Staunton.
Larry Biggerstaff, Brighton, is suing Phillip and Rosemary Payne, Macedonia, for $3,000 in damages, alleging that the defendants sold him an inoperable H2 Hardy Wood Furnace.
Kimberly Pearson, Carlinville, is suing Doug and Carissa Eason, Carlinville, for $2,500 that the plaintiff claims she is owed for unpaid rent, unpaid utilities, property damage, property theft and the cost of having trash hauled away.
Jeremy D. Sumlin, 25, Benld, is charged with resisting a peace officer in connection with a Jan. 11 incident in Gillespie during which he allegedly caused bodily harm by pulling away from and wrestling with a Gillespie police officer engaged in executing his official duties.
Walter R. Holmes, 41, Staunton, is charged with possession of less than five grams of methamphetamine in connection with a Jan. 22 incident in Staunton.
Lorie L. Bogard, 25, Mount Olive, is charged with possession of less than five grams of methamphetamine in connection with an Oct. 15, 2017, incident in Gillespie.
Francis L. Koniak, III, 41, Gillespie, is charged with possession of a controlled substance in connection with an Oct. 30, 2017, incident in Gillespie during which he allegedly was found to be in possession of less than 15 grams of a substance containing FUB-AMB, a form of synthetic cannabis.
Monica S. Link, 38, Gillespie, is charged with possession of a controlled substance in connection with a Sept. 8, 2017, incident in Gillespie during which she allegedly was found to be in possession of an unspecified quantity of Lorazepam.
Dryce A. Cunningham, 18, Carlinville, has been charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a person under the age of 21 in connection with a Jan. 6 incident at about 3:51 a.m. on Illinois Route 111 at Cumberland Road. Cunningham previously was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to reduce the speed of his vehicle to avoid an accident, improper lane usage and illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver in connection with the same incident.
James T. Morgan, 22, Mount Olive, is charged with possession of more than 30 grams but less than 100 grams of a substance containing cannabis in connection with a Jan. 22 incident.
Kelly L. Conner, 45, Gillespie, is charged with violating an order of protection in connection with a Jan. 24 incident during which he allegedly shut off power to a residence in the 400 block of East Elm Street in Gillespie in violation of a court order of protection issued on Jan. 23.
Jade N. Donaldson, 27, Girard, is charged with retail theft in connection with a Jan. 25 incident during which she allegedly shop-lifted candy valued at less than $500 from the Freedom gas station in Girard.
Melvin L. Wall, 36, St. Louis, Mo., is charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol in connection with a Jan. 5 incident at about 8:35 p.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 55 at Illinois Route 138. Wall also faces a traffic charge for allegedly driving on a suspended license.
Brandon M. Andrews, 22, Springfield, is charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol in connection with a Jan. 20 incident at about 11:06 p.m. on Otten Road at Emmerson Airline Road. Andrews also was cited with traffic charges for improper lane usage and operating a vehicle with unsafe equipment, allegedly driving on three tires and a rim.
Matthew J. Newell, 39, Benld, is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol in connection with a Jan. 21 incident at about 8:20 p.m. in the 400 block of South Illinois Street in Benld. Newell also faces traffic charges for allegedly operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failing to reduce the speed of his vehicle to avoid an accident.
Jeffrey S. Timmermeier, 55, Litchfield, is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol in connection with a Jan. 22 incident at about 12:38 p.m. on Illinois Route 4 about one-half mile south of Quarry Road. Additionally, Timmermeier faces traffic charges for alleged improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver and operation of a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license.
