Ronald and Cindy Bertolino has filed a forcible entry and detainer complaint against Denny and Jennifer Kuhn, Gillespie, seeking $1,955 in alleged unpaid rent, plus court costs, attorney fees and possession of residential premises located in the 1200 block of South Second Street in Gillespie.
National Collegiate Student Loan Trust is suing Natasha Butler, Gillespie, for $14,686.87, plus interest of $233.46 and post-judgment interest at a rate of nine percent, that the plaintiff claims is owed on a $13,000 student loan executed Aug. 13, 2007
Hebenstreit Family Limited Partnership has filed a complaint for eviction against Samantha L. Fuller-Vanderpool and James C. Blum, Jr., Bunker Hill, seeking a court order for possession of an apartment located in the 100 block of South Meisner Street in Bunker Hill, along with court costs and attorney fees. The complaint alleges the defendants violated terms of their Rural Development lease by failing to notify the property owners of an increase in income within 30 days. The suit claims the couple refused to surrender the property after being served with a 10-day notice to vacate on Jan. 19.
Maco Management Co., Inc., has filed a forcible entry and detainer complaint against Jennifer Ramirez and Vicki Kay Young, Brighton, seeking $1,040 in alleged unpaid rent, plus court costs, attorney fees and possession of residential premises located in the 1100 block of Rodgers Court, Brighton.
Midland Funding, LLC, is suing Russell Horrighs, Virden, for $1,449.57, plus court costs, that the plaintiff claims is owed on an allegedly defaulted Comenity Bank/Gander Mountain credit card account.
Carlinville Area Hospital is suing Timothy D. and Bethany Chapman, Carlinville, for $861.85, plus court costs, that the plaintiff claims the defendants owe for medical services.
Cavalry SPV I, LLC, is suing Scott Shelton, Mount Olive, for $1,637.84, plus court costs, that the plaintiff claims is owed for a credit card debt.
Don Moulton is suing Amy Lanfried, Bunker Hill, for $8,328, that Moulton claims is due for rental and utilities due for property located in the 8600 block of Moulton Road, Bunker Hill.
Lake Catatoga Association, Inc., is suing Josh and Dan Swarrington, Plainview, for $336, plus interest, attorney fees and court costs, that the plaintiff claims is owed for membership dues.

Jamie L. Ruebling, 47, Palmyra, is charged with residential burglary in connection with a July 27, 2017, incident during which she allegedly entered a residence without authority in the 39000 block of Otten Road near Modesto with the intent to commit a theft.
Caitlin D. Page, 24, Gillespie, is charged with possession of less than five grams of methamphetamine in connection with a Feb. 8 incident in Gillespie.
David W. Buck, 34, Medora, is charged with multiple counts in connection with the Feb. 8 murder of Rachel Warren in Chesterfield. He is charged with first degree murder for allegedly shooting Warren, knowing that his action would result in her death. Additionally, he is charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of a stolen firearm for allegedly possessing a Ford F150 pick-up truck and a Ruger LCP .380, knowing them to be stolen. Buck also is charged with possession of a weapon by a felon for allegedly possessing the Ruger firearm after being convicted of a felony in the State of Texas. An additional charge cites Buck for alleged aggravated unlawful restraint for allegedly using a firearm to force A. J. Wheeler to drive Buck to a field in Macoupin County. He also is charged with aggravated fleeing or eluding for allegedly driving away from Chief Macoupin County Sheriff’s Deputy Quinn Rieher on Illinois Route 111 south of Summerville Road at speeds in excess of 21 miles per hour over the speed limit after Quinn activated his vehicle’s emergency lights to signal Buck to stop.
Arthur S. Zumwalt, 34, Staunton, pled guilty domestic battery resulting in bodily harm on Feb. 1 in connection with a Jan. 31 incident in Staunton. Zumwalt was sentenced to two years of probation and given credit for four-days of jail time.
Benjamin L. Shaw, 38, Carlinville, pled guilty to domestic battery resulting in bodily harm on Feb. 2 in connection with a Feb. 1 incident in Carlinville. Shaw was sentenced to two years of probation and given credit for four-days of jail time.
Dalton R. Shaw, 19, Carlinville, is charged with theft in connection with a Dec. 7, 2017, incident during which he allegedly exercised unauthorized control over an unspecified amount of cash belonging to another person with the intent to permanently deprive the victim of the property.
Eric S. Cunningham, 34, Gillespie, is charged with domestic battery in connection with a Feb. 8 incident in Gillespie during which he allegedly struck his grandfather in the face with his fist.
Carley Jolena Prince, 22, Kincaid, is charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol in connection with a Jan. 31 incident at about 7:23 p.m. on Illinois Route 108 at County Road 00E. In addition, she faces traffic charges for allegedly failing to reduce the speed of her vehicle to avoid an accident, failing to give notice of an accident involving property damage, leaving the scene of an accident and improper lane usage.
Keith E. Pointer, 32, Carlinville, is charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol in connection with a Feb. 6 incident at about 1:05 a.m. on North Broad Street at Morgan Street in Carlinville. Additionally, he was ticketed for allegedly failing to reduce the speed of his vehicle to avoid an accident and improper lane usage.
