Auto Sales of Illinois, Inc., Litchfield, has filed a complaint in replevin against John Perkins, Benld, seeking a court order to take possession of a 2008 Pontiac G6 allegedly purchased on credit a year ago. The complaint alleges Perkins entered into a 28-month retail installment contract on Feb. 17, 2017, for $5,034 at an interest rate of 20.99 percent and has been in default on the loan since June last year. The complaint seeks possession of the vehicle or a monetary judgment for the $5,711.49 value of the vehicle, along with attorney fees and court costs.
Consumer Collection Management is suing John M. and Brittany Jo Brown, Carlinville, for $9,605.03, plus court costs, that the plaintiff claims is owed for unpaid medical bills. The judgment sought includes $9,380.03 allegedly owed to Carlinville Area Hospital and $225 allegedly owed to Washington University, St. Louis, Mo.
Dennis and Patty Bouillon, Carlinville, are suing Heath and Jordan Smith, Carlinville, for $2,815.39 that the plaintiffs claim is owed for unpaid rent, court costs and damage to rental property they own.
Chesterfield State Bank is suing Shane J. Lomelino, Palmyra, for $2,782.59, plus court costs, that the bank is owed for the alleged “fraudulent deposit of a check the defendant previously negotiated at a different bank by online deposit.”
Black Forest Management, LLC, St. Louis, Mo., is suing Joshua A. and Tiffany L. Hensley for $1,003.55, plus court costs, that the plaintiff claims is owed on an allegedly defaulted contract the couple signed Sept.12, 2016, to rent an apartment in St. Louis.
Credit Collection Partners is suing Crystal Brooks, Mount Olive, for $714.50, plus court costs, that the plaintiff claims is owed for an allegedly unpaid medical bill from Dunn’s Ambulance Service.
Credit Collection Partners is suing Lewis E. Anderson, Staunton, for $1,009.15, plus court costs, that the plaintiff claims is owed for an allegedly unpaid medical bill from Staunton Clinic.
SPV I, LCC, is suing Shawn Tanksley, Mount Olive, for $1,013.65, plus court costs, that the plaintiff claims is owed on an allegedly defaulted credit card account.
Credit Acceptance Corp is suing Jenni Obrian, Litchfield, for $6,907, plus court costs, that the plaintiff claims is owed on an allegedly defaulted $11.243.39 auto loan executed Feb. 28, 2016, at an interest rate of 23.99 percent for the purchase of a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country vehicle from Freedom Chevrolet, Virden.
Credit Collection Partners is suing Kenny Robinson, Carlinville, for $252.32, plus court costs, that the plaintiff claims is owed for an unpaid medical bill from Advanced Eye Care, Carlinville.
Jeremy L. Cashen, 41, Palmyra, is charged with possession of less than five grams of methamphetamine in connection with a Feb. 7 incident in Palmyra.
Steven E. Lucykow, 40, Gillespie, is charged with possession of less than five grams of methamphetamine in connection with a Jan. 5 incident in Gillespie.
Mark B. Bersch, 61, Carlinville, is charged with two counts of criminal trespass to property in connection with incidents on Feb. 14 during which he remained at the Carlinville Hardee’s restaurant and Carlinville City Hall after being given notice requiring him to leave.
Jamie L. Cozzoni, 33, Staunton, is charged with two counts of deceptive practice for writing checks on Jan. 8 and Jan. 29 for $126.69 and $91.72, respectively, to Bill’s IGA in Staunton while knowing his bank would not honor the drafts.
Matthew R. Meneguzzo, 24, Coffeen, is charged with unlawful possession of cannabis in connection with a Feb. 20 incident in Carlinville during which he allegedly possessed more than 30 grams but less than 100 grams of a substance containing cannabis.
Melissa A. Baglin, 43, Gillespie, is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol in connection with a March 8 incident at about 11:54 a.m. on Montgomery Street at Chestnut Street in Gillespie. Baglin also faces a traffic charge for allegedly disregarding a stop sign.
Jasmarie Silva, 27, Montgomery, is charged with two counts of driving under the influence of drugs in connection with a Dec. 22, 2017, incident on North Broad Street at Broadway Street in Carlinville. Silva is accused of being under the influence of Lorazepam when her southbound vehicle left the roadway at a high rate of speed, colliding with a building and fence.
