LAWSUITS

Willum, Inc. has filed a forcible entry and detainer complaint against Andrew Frazier, Corine Schreier and Rebecca Hamilton seeking $1,900 in alleged back rent, plus court costs and possession of premises located in the 300 block of Fisher Street in Wilsonville.

SMALL CLAIMS

St. Francis Hospital, Litchfield, is suing Troy A. Stone, Carlinville, for $7,287.90, plus court costs, that Stone allegedly owes for medical services.

Nathan Buchanan, Bunker Hill, is suing Kenneth Fixman, St. Louis, Mo., for $4,547.75, plus court costs, that the plaintiff claims the defendant owes him.

Jimmy and Phyllis Monroe, Benld, is suing Joann Claro, Gillespie, for $10,000, plus court costs, claiming Claro sold tools and equipment belonging to Jimmy Monroe without Monroe’s knowledge or consent. The suit contends that Claro is the owner of a residence in Sawyerville that the Monroes lived in from January 2011 to October 2015. According to the suit, Claro allowed the plaintiffs to live at the home rent-free in exchange for Jimmy Monroe performing repairs and making improvements to the property. In January 2015, Claro allegedly advised the couple that she wanted to start charging $300 per month for rent, which the Monroes reportedly paid from January through September 2015, at which time they moved to a residence in Benld. After the couple moved to Benld, Claro allegedly allowed Jimmy Monroe to continue to store his tools and equipment in the garage of the Sawyerville residence in exchange for him doing additional work at the home. The suit alleges the Claro contacted Monroe early in January and asked him to remove construction equipment and tools he had been using at the Sawyerville residence. Monroe complied, according to the suit, storing the equipment and tools with the rest of his construction tools and equipment in the Sawyerville garage, which he kept locked with a padlock. The plaintiffs now alleges that Claro cut the lock, removed the tools and equipment, and sold them to other individuals. The suit seeks $10,000 in compensation for the tools and equipment, plus court costs.

Pamela Kelly, Mount Olive, is suing James Rettig, Staunton, for $1,500, plus court costs, that the plaintiff claims is owed by the defendant.

Macoupin County Veterinary Clinic, Carlinville, is suing Erma J. Eller, Carlinville, for $806.06, plus court costs, allegedly owed on a delinquent bill.
