Maya Marcacci, Miss Macoupin County Fair 2019, will compete in the 2020 Miss Illinois County Fair Queen Pageant hosted at the Crowne Plaza in Springfield, January 16 to 19.
Marcacci will compete alongside 72 County Fair Queens for the title of Miss Illinois County Fair. Contestant interviews will be held on Friday, followed by two preliminary rounds of on-stage competition, consisting of a one-minute speech, as well as a swimsuit and evening gown competition, on Saturday. Marcacci will be vying in the evening preliminary on Saturday, beginning at 7:00 P.M. Preliminaries are open to the public with a $20.00 admittance charge.
Finals will be held on Sunday evening in conjunction with the Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs Banquet. The contestant field will be narrowed to fifteen finalists who will then compete for the pageant title.
Marcacci is the 20-year-old daughter of Mike & Susan Marcacci of Benld. She is currently enrolled at Lewis & Clark Community College in pursuit of a biology degree with plans to enroll in medical school to become an anesthesiologist.
