A new little food pantry has been built in Benld and is available to anyone who is in need of a meal. A ceremonial ribbon cutting for the effort was held on Easter Sunday.
The box is being managed by Laura O’Brien and Maxwell Garcia and is located on East Eiler Street at the north end of 4th Street. Garcia thought the blessing box would be a great project teaching himself responsibility and helping everyone understand everyone has hard times.
“For everyone who has met Laura, you know she is the most generous woman in the world,” Build Benld announced.
