Macoupin County Public Transportation will be providing breakfast and lunchtime rides to and from the Gillespie school this summer for the Summer Food Program hosted by Gillespie CUSD 7.
Students interested or in need of transportation for this program will need to have a guardian-signed form turned in to the Macoupin County Public Transportation office located at 112 S Macoupin Street in Gillespie before rides can be provided.
Forms will be available at both Gillespie schools, the Macoupin County Public Transportation office in Gillespie, and Maple Street Clinic in Gillespie. Parents/guardians are permitted to ride with their students and all riders must be picked up in Gillespie.
The food program will run from June 3rd – June 28th (Monday-Friday). Breakfast is served from 8:00 am – 9:00 am and lunch is served from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm in the high school cafeteria.
