Jimmie Ray Pollard, Sr., 57, of Bunker Hill passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at 12:16 p.m. at his residence. He was born on March 9, 1958, in Alton to Jimmie Lee Pollard and Jeanette I. (Binstead) Pollard. He married Susan (Butler) Pollard on March 20, 1981, in Bunker Hill.
He was a propane driver for M&M Services and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, boating, Harley Davidson motorcycles and Mopar.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Pollard of Bunker Hill; two sons, Jimmie Ray (Kara) Pollard Jr. of Bunker Hill and Mitchell Jay Pollard of Bunker Hill; his favorite little girlfriend Coco – his dog; three grandchildren, Jillian, Riley and Logan; father-in-law, Charles Butler of Bunker Hill; two sister-in-laws, Dee Anna (David) Day of Wilsonville and Becky (Eddie) Christ of Granite City; brother-in-law, Charles Butler, Jr. of Bunker Hill; four nephews, Bob (Nicole) Pollard, Blake (Kaitlyne) Pollard, Conner Pollard and Timothy (Brittany) Christ.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Lee Pollard; mother-in-law, Pansy Butler; brother, Michael Allan Pollard; and nephew, Jesse Allan Pollard.
Visitation services will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill with Pastor Jeremy Wood officiating. Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
