Michael Anthony Wilkinson, 58 of Gillespie, died in Bunker Hill on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 12:16 am. He was born on January 1, 1965, in Chester, IL to Ronald Dale Wilkinson and Virginia Rose Johnson Wallace.
He was a laborer and a veteran of the US Army. Michael was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. He enjoyed spending time with family, drinking beer, camping, and boating.
He is survived by his mother, Virginia Wallace of Alton; fiancée, Mary Phillips of Gillespie; brothers and sisters, Bob (Michelle) Wilkinson of Godfrey, Cindy Wilkinson of East Alton, Tim (Mary) Wilkinson of Easley, SC, Mary (Tony) Brooks of Brighton, Rick (Christina) Wilkinson of Bunker Hill, Brian Wilkinson of Nashville, TN, and Ronda (Derek) Terpstra of Oskaloosa, IA; step-brothers, Britt (Tracy) Wallace of St. Peters, MO and Blake Wallace of Florissant, MO; sister in law, Charlotte (Jerry) Davis of Shipman; mother in law, Lavada Nored of Godfrey; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his father and step father, Charles Wallace.
Gravesite services will be on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 11:00 am at Bunker Hill Cemetery, Bunker Hill. Memorials are suggested to Kravanya Funeral Home.
