
William Nolan Logue Jr. passed away at 2:40 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at his home in Hamel. He was 75 years old. William was born on February 5, 1948, the son of William Logue Sr. and Mary (Manning) Logue.
He attended Mount Olive High School and graduated in the Class of 1966. He married Michele Logue on September 26, 1970, at the White City Motorcycle Club in White City and she preceded him in death. William was a firefighter for over 30 years. He loved traveling with his wife and spending time with his family. Cars and trucks were one of William’s hobbies and he also loved fishing in his free time.
William is survived by his son, Charles (Christy) Logue; six grandchildren, Darrell (Morgan) Logue, Harley Logue/Dusty Nolan, Kyle Ballard, Matt Ballard, and Danielle Trimm; and five great-grandchildren, Ayden, Aubrey, Olivia, Colt, and Liam; sisters, Mary (John) Dodt, Nancy (Jeff) Patzius, Phyllis Bandy, Linda Harbaugh, and Becky Pifer; brothers, Dan Logue, Kenny Logue and Larry (Ethel) Logue; and a very close friend, Sarah Nolan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a daughter, Kristen Logue Wood; and sister, Cindy Odle.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Memorials are suggested to Hamel Fire Department. Becker and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
