Jake B. Hamilton, 17, Bethalto was cited for GDL operation motor vehicle outside permitted driving hours and GDL unlawful number of passengers.
Officer took a report from a female who was receiving harassing and threatening phone calls from a male subject. He was contacted and advised anymore phone calls and charges would be filed.
TUESDAY, AUGUST 21, 2012
Jacob E. Fritz, 26, Gillespie was arrested on a warrant out of Montgomery County for failure to appear on a retail theft charge. He posted bond and was released.
Officer took a report from a male subject in the 100 block of Park Avenue that when he returned home his fishing equipment was stolen out of his back yard.
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 22, 2012
Officer took a report from a male who had been harassed at a business in the 100 block of N. Macoupin. He did not want to file charges at this time against a female who pushed him and yelled at him. He did want her contacted and advised if there is a next time, he will file charges.
Officer was called to Gillespie & Handy Streets for a male driver who was driving too fast and screeching tires. Blake D. Neel, 20, Gillespie was cited for disorderly conduct.
THURSDAY, AUGUST 23, 2012
Officer took a report from a student at the high school parking lot. A female who had her car parked there had the driver’s side of her vehicle keyed.
Officer took a report from a male who reported being harassed by his ex-girlfriend. She was contact and advised not to call or text him anymore or charges could be filed.
FRIDAY, AUGUST 24, 2012
Officer was called to the 300 block of E. Oak where the resident let his dog out and a man jumped out of the bushes. The man was located and advised that while walking home he fell in the bushes.
Officer took a report from a female who advised that she was missing several items from her residence in the 700 block of Olive Street.
Officer took a report from a female in the 200 block of W. Spruce who found that the driver’s side glass was broken out of her vehicle parked at the residence.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 25, 2012
Jamie L. Clark, 23, Livingston was cited for having no insurance.
Bill J. Acup Jr., 52, Gillespie was arrested for improper lane usage, two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while license revoked. He posted bond and was released.
Johnelle B. Acup, 40, Gillespie was cited for permitting a driver under the influence of alcohol to drive.
SUNDAY, AUGUST 26, 2012
Jessica A. Richardson, 22, Gillespie was arrested for illegal operation of sound amplification system, two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver. She posted bond and was released.
A father reported that the mother of his child violated the child custody order. She did not bring the child home after visitation and he has full custody. He did not want his son to miss school.
He was advised to bring the custody papers to the police department so the officer could see what options could be taken.
