The purpose of the Coal Country Chamber of Commerce is to enrich the quality of life within our communities by providing economic growth and opportunity, civic pride, and fostering community involvement in a unified and proactive manner. |

Established in 1999, the Coal Country Chamber of Commerce serves the communities of Benld, Dorchester, Eagarville, East Gillespie, Gillespie, Mount Clare, Sawyerville and Wilsonville. These communities make up the Community Unit 7 School District. |

Our membership is made up of municipalities/ government bodies, local businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals from all over Macoupin County. |

Our office is located in downtown Gillespie. Gillespie can be found at the intersection of Illinois Route 4 and Illinois Route 16. |

Approximately 50 miles east of St. Louis, MO, Gillespie can be easily accessed by Interstate 55 by taking Highway 138 west through Benld to Route 4 north. |
