The drawing for The Partnership Grand Raffle for 2023 will occur on Palm Sunday, April 2, 2023.
Ticket sales have been brisk, but there are still a few left. If you are interested in winning the $5,000 grand prize, you can drop by Hicks Maytag Appliances in Gillespie or contact Tammy at the Hicks store at 217-839-3167. If all tickets are not sold, the payout will be 50/50. Tickets are $20 each.
Funds raised by the raffle will be used to support academic achievements in the Pre-K through 12-grade classrooms of Community Unit School District 7. In the past 30 years, The Partnership is proud to have contributed a total of $660,000 of donors’ funds to hands-on classroom resources.
In addition, this 501(c)3, IRS-chartered education foundation has provided $320,000 post-secondary tuition scholarships to 497 Gillespie High School graduates. These scholars have pursued careers in the trades, academia, medicine, law, engineering, education, and dozens of other fields.
This year – our 30th anniversary – we anticipate hitting the $1 million mark in donor-funded classroom and scholarship awards!
