Amy Marie Viehweg, 36, of Somerset, KY died Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 3:50 PM at University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY. She was born on January 20, 1976 in Centralia, IL to Harold Tadlock and Tammy (Coberly) Tadlock.
She was employed at Walmart in Litchfield, IL and as a bank teller at First National Bank in Mt. Olive, IL. Amy was an advocate for research and cure for pulmonary hypertension, a former member of Ascension Church of Mt. Olive, and volunteer at the church. She advocated preservation the environment and was a true nature lover.
Amy leaves behind her son: Austin Bryce Viehweg of Mt. Olive, IL, parents: Harold and Tammy Tadlock of Cambridge, OH, grandmother: Phyllis Marie Patterson of Plainview, TX, and sisters: Alisha Dawn Tadlock of Kimbolton, OH, Melinda Kay Johnson of Sawyerville, IL, Courtney Tadlock of TX.
Visitation is on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Kravanya Funeral Home, Gillespie from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
The funeral is set for Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie, IL. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mt. Olive, IL. Fr. Larry Anschutz will be ministering the services. The family suggests memorials be made out to the Austin Viehweg Fund.
