Donna L. Knoche, 84, of Riverton, formerly of Dorchester, died at Rochester Estates Senior Living on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 9:22 p.m. She was born July 7, 1939, in Bunker Hill, to Erwin Duelm and Clara Buhs Duelm. She married Harold Knoche on June 16, 1957, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Bunker Hill. He preceded her in death on March 10, 1994.
She was a cook for the Benld Nutrition Center and an organist for 60 years at the Zion Lutheran Church of Bunker Hill. Donna was a member of the Dorchester Firemen’s Auxiliary, Women’s Lutheran Missionary League, Meals on Wheels, and Aid Association for Lutherans.
She is survived by her children, Janice Abner of Riverton, Richard (Deni) Knoche of Dorchester, Susan (J. Mike) Missler of Birden, daughter-in-law, Kim Knoche of Bloomington, twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, sister, Kathy (companion, Tom) Bowman of Bozeman, MT, sisters-in-law, Carol Hunt Duelm and Carlene Knoche Daley, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friend, Richard Sereg. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, son, Donald Knoche, son-in-law, Gary Abner, brother Wayne Duelm, and brother-in-law, Virgil Bowman.
Friends may call on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Zion Lutheran Church, Bunker Hill from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral services are Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Bunker Hill. Burial will be at Prairietown Cemetery.
