Donna Mae Henninger, 87 of Litchfield, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023, at 3:14 a.m. at Hillsboro Rehab and Health Center. She was born on January 26, 1936, in Good Thunder, MN, a daughter of Ervin and Evelyn (Schubbe) Dalluge.
She and Fred Werner Otto Henninger were married on September 1, 1956, in Good Thunder, MN. He preceded her in death on September 19, 2013. Mrs. Henninger was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, enjoyed watching game shows, playing cards, gardening, and making homemade soup. Most of all, she enjoyed being a homemaker and was happiest spending time with her family and her cats.
Mrs. Henninger is survived by two sons, Frederick M. Henninger of Dandridge, TN and Glenn E. Henninger of St. Louis, MO; two daughters, Susan G. Haring of Litchfield and Amy E. Henninger of Alexandria, VA; and three grandchildren, Ashley (Andy) Applegate, Brittany Henninger, and Rochelle Henninger.
Private family services will be held at a later day for Mrs. Henninger. Plummer Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
