Izetta Larie (Payton) Prine, 88, of Gillespie, Illinois died July 16, 2012 at 11:18 pm at Heritage Health of Gillespie, Illinois. She was born December 27, 1923, in Taylor, Nebraska to Guy Payton & Almedia (Strohl) Payton. Izetta married Harry Davis on February 20, 1939 in Ord, Nebraska. They later divorced. They had three children: daughter, Connie and sons, Ben and Harry. Izetta then later moved to Darlington, Wisconsin.
This is where she met and married LeRoy Prine on October 7, 1956. They were married for 18 years until his passing . They had one daughter, Janice. Then Izetta married Merlin Prine on September 12, 1978 in Darlington, Wisconsin. They were married for 24 years until his passing. Izetta enjoyed working on the ranch in Nebraska, sewing, crafts, planting flowers, gardening and spending time with her pets.
Izetta is survived by her daughters, Janice Prine of La Crescent, Minnesota, Connie (Robert) Brown of Alamo, Texas, sons, Ben Davis of Loveland, Colorado, Harry (Nancy) Davis of Denton, Nebraska, sisters, Lula Coleman of Denver, Colorado, Orabelle Young of Denver, Colorado, many grandchildren and great grandchildren and nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Izetta was preceded in death by both her husbands, LeRoy and Merlin Prine, parents, sisters, Bethel Northery, Eva Sears, Edith Jones, infant sister, Dorothy and two brothers, George Payton, Frank Payton. No services will be held. A private inurnment will be held at a later date at Union Grove Cemetery, Darlington, Wisconsin.
