Lonnie Gene Ziegler II, age 33 of Staunton, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at Community Hospital of Staunton in Staunton. He was born on Tuesday, October 31, 1989, in Litchfield. He was the son of Lonnie G. Ziegler and Jami (Courtney) Ottwein.
Lonnie worked as a delivery driver for RP Lumber and was a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ in Staunton.
Lonnie is survived by his daughter, Aubrie Ziegler; his son, Laiden Ziegler; his father, Lonnie G. (Lori) Ziegler of New Douglas; brothers, Brandon (Alex) Ziegler, Zachary Ziegler, and Jacob Ziegler; sisters, Kristine Dennison and Shannon Dennison; and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jami Ottwein; daughter, Michelle Ann Ziegler; paternal grandparents, LeRoy and Barbara Ziegler; maternal grandparents, Jim and Sally Courtney; step-grandparents, David and Shirley Porter; and aunt, Jana Ziegler.
A visitation for Lonnie Ziegler will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Lesicko Funeral Home located at 271 N Second Street in Livingston.
Funeral services for Lonnie Ziegler will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Lesicko Funeral Home in Livingston with Rev. Deborah J. Atkins officiating. Burial will be in Spangle Cemetery located near Livingston.
