Ralph Fry “Tiny” Chapman Jr., 71 of Springfield, died at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield on August 20, 2023, at 5:25 a.m. He was born on March 30, 1952, to Ralph Fry Chapman Sr. and Patricia Ruemmler Sweet.
He was a retired truck driver and tow truck driver. Ralph enjoyed boating, fishing, and gun collecting.
He is survived by children, Robert “Bob” Mehlberg (Brenda) of Witt, Donald Chapman of Benld, Ronald Chapman (Brittany) of Benld, Christ Chapman (Veronica) of Ocala FL, Candice Chapman of FL, and Carl Chapman of IL; brother, Andy Chapman of Wilsonville; sister, Nancy Cox of Springfield; and grandkids, Hannah, Cailee, Doris and Max.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David Chapman.
No public services will be held. Memorials are suggested to the donor’s choice. Kravanya Funeral Home, Benld is in charge of the arrangements.
