SUNDAY, APRIL 13, 2025
An officer initiated a traffic stop at Macoupin Street and Pine Street. Brayden K. Cobine, 21 of Godrey, was arrested for operating uninsured vehicle, classification of driver license, and squealing tires.
An officer was assisting in a traffic stop at Macoupin Street and Pine Street when a male showed up to pick up the male from the traffic stop. Arrested was Brennden D. Cobine, 21 of Mulberry Grove, for driving under the influence of alcohol.
An officer was dispatched to Adams Street and Henry Street reference ATV on roadway. A 15 year old male from Gillespie was issued citation for riding non-highway vehicles on roadway; also a 14 year old male was issued a citation for riding a non-highway vehicle on roadway.
An officer was dispatched to South Street and Spruce Street reference a well-being check. Dominique M. Kierbach 27 of Benld, was arrested on a Macoupin County warrant for failure to appear for possession of methamphetamine and no valid driver’s license.

An officer spoke with a male at the Gillespie Police Department in reference to criminal trespass in the 400 block of Charles Street.
An officer initiated a traffic stop in the 2300 block of Staunton Rd in Mt. Clare. Melissa A. Rushing, 57 of Benld, was issued a citation for failing to move over for an emergency vehicle on a stop, and operating an uninsured vehicle. Barry L. Rhodes, 58 of Benld, was issued a citation for no seat belt.
All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
