SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 2016
The Gillespie Police Department was called to the 400 block of East Pine for a domestic. The female had left the residence by the time an officer arrived, but the male advised it was all verbal.
Officer took a report from a male who had lost his wallet at Gillespie Lake. The wallet had been turned into the office, but all of his identification was stolen.
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2016
Hector A. Camara, 50, Flora was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. He posted bond and was released.
Officer was called to the 400 block of Diana Drive where a male was seen entering a vehicle along with other males. Later that morning, the male, Ryan L. Marler, 20, Gillespie was arrested for criminal trespass to a vehicle and obstructing a peace officer. He was transported to Macoupin County Jail.
Officer was called to the 700 block of Abba Street to take a report of a break in and theft of items from the resident’s garage.
Tammy L. Sanders, 57, West Lafayette, IN was cited for speeding 53 MPH in a 30 MPH zone.
Matthew A. Todd, 32, Brighton was cited for speeding 46 MPH in a 30 MPH zone.
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2016
Officer was called to the 200 block of West Wilson when a male called and advised he had been jumped by another male. The male at the residence, not the caller, was transported to a hospital. This case is under investigation.
Officer took a report from a male who said his daughter’s bicycle had been stolen from the 100 block of Park Avenue
Officer took a report from a female who reported that someone poured oil in the gas tank of her lawnmower.
Officers were called to the 300 block of Park Avenue for an unwanted person at a female’s residence. The male had left the scene before officers arrived. The female advised that she was going to the courthouse the next day to get an order of protection.
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2016
Officer was called to Gillespie High School to remove an unruly student. The student was brought to the police department and released to his mother.
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2016
Dakota R. Campbell, 19, Litchfield was cited for possession of cannabis.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2016
Cindy S. Spicer, 54, Carlinville was cited for speeding 46 MPH in a 30 MPH zone.
Jennifer M. Martin, 32, Bunker Hill was cited for speeding 49 MPH in a 30 MPH zone.
Sarah S. Wright, 28, Brighton was cited for speeding 46 MPH in a 30 MPH zone.
Lawrence M. Jarden, 33, Litchfield was cited for disobeying a stop sign.
Officer took a report from a female who advised that her husband’s medication was missing from his bedroom.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2016
Officers were called to the 400 block of East Easton for a domestic between the male living there and his girlfriend. The girlfriend was given a ride to her residence in Benld.
Officer took a report from a parent who said her juvenile daughter was given a tattoo without her permission. Walter A. Wallace, 36, Gillespie, was cited for tattooing the body of a minor and public nuisance.
Russell D. Huber, 53, Hillsboro was cited for speeding 46 MPH in a 30 MPH zone
David B Weaver, 54, Millstadt was cited for speeding 52 MPH in a 30 MPH zone.
Richard J. Kruemmelbein, 47, Bunker Hill was cited for speeding 45 MPH in a 30 MPH zone.
Keith S. Summers Jr., 32, Alton was cited for driving while license suspended.
