Local Farmers Insurance agent Adam Tallman presented Fight the Fight a portion of his commission Wednesday afternoon, March 6. Tallman recently opened his insurance office in the previous South County News building where he focuses on “meeting the needs of each individual person.”
Fight the Fight owner Pete Visintin bragged of Tallman’s generosity and explained his donation helped Fight the Fight move closer to the donation goal set for Milo Price by over $200. “Adam helped us give to someone in need which is what Fight the Fight is all about and why our company was founded,” Visintin added. “We look forward to doing more cross promotions in the future.”
Before selling insurance, Tallman worked in the banking industry. He chose to start helping families in a different way, insurance. Farmers Insurance is a strong, fast responding, reliable company that has been around since 1928 specializing in non-standard auto insurance providing coverage to drivers whose driving records make obtaining insurance difficult.
The 2003 Gillespie graduate and 2007 SIUE graduate can help with a variety of different policies. “I offer auto, home, rental, landlord, mobile homes, life, motorcycle, boats, RVs, ATVs, small and middle size business, and financial services,” Tallman explained. “I can help you insure anything you need and enjoy in your life.”
Tallman added he educates what insurance is, why it is important, and makes sure a bad day doesn’t turn into a bad life. “I never want you to feel like insurance is just another bill in your life,” Tallman added, “I want to give you a sense of security knowing your money is going to a policy to protect you and your loved ones.”
The local Farmers agent decided to join efforts of Fight the Fight because he thinks of himself as a problem solver. “I don’t think of myself as a salesman,” he clarified. He helps ease the stress by providing strong, reliable insurance. “I know I am helping individuals who need help,” Tallman added with his donation check.
Fight the Fight is a 50/50 company providing popular apparel products to individuals while half of the proceeds benefit a selected individual battling hefty bills or combating an attacking disease. Both Fight the Fight and Adam Tallman focus on helping individuals improve the lives of others who have encountered difficult circumstances in their lives.
