TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2012
Officers were called to the 300 block of N. Adams for a domestic between a male subject and his girlfriend. They had an argument over his ex-girlfriend, so she threw a coffee cup at him and hit him in the head. Tina M. Ackley, 48, Gillespie was arrested for domestic battery and transported to Macoupin County jail.
Officers were called to a business in the 300 block of N. Macoupin where a male subject had been beat up by his brother and pushed down a flight of stairs at his brother’s apartment in the 300 block of N. Adams. The male subject was transported to a hospital. The officers then arrested Billy E. Robbins, 53, Gillespie for domestic battery and transported him to Macoupin County jail.
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2012
Officers were called to the 300 block of Park Avenue in reference to a male subject trespassing.
The female did not want him at that address. He did not have any place to go and was just released from the hospital. He was transported to a hospital in Granite City by an ambulance.
Officer received a call from a concerned citizen that reported damage to the gate at the Catholic Cemetery on Cedar St. It looked like someone drove a vehicle thru the gate and broke it off.
Officer was called to talk to a female on a child custody issue. The male subject did not bring the child for visitation. The female was advised she would have to contact her attorney.
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2012
Officer was called to the 1000 block of S. Madison for a domestic between two sisters. Neither one wanted to file charges. The mother took one of them to the hospital to be checked out. All of them filled out voluntary statements for the officer’s report.
Michael L. W. Dobson, 18, Gillespie was cited for having no valid driver’s license and failure to report an accident to police authority after striking a pole at the corner of Broadway and Frey Streets.
A male subject wanted a report showing that when he sent someone to pick up his child from school, the mother of the child had already picked the child up.
Amy S. Underwood, 25, Gillespie was arrested on a warrant out of Fayette County for failure to appear on a DUI charge. She was transported to Macoupin County jail.
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2012
Christopher K. Moreland, 25, Staunton was arrested on a warrant out Macoupin County for failure to appear on endangering the life/health of a child. He could not post bond and was turned over the Staunton police for their investigation.

Justin R. Dilks, 20, Jerseyville was cited for having no insurance.
