Jeffery Kirk Harbaugh, 58 of Litchfield, died at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at 2:53 a.m. He was born on December 29, 1962, at Whiteman Air Force Base in Johnson County, MO to Charles W. Harbaugh and Norma Lorene (Bettis) Harbaugh.
He married Jenifer (Niemann) Harbaugh on August 26, 2000, in Litchfield. He was the owner of Sportsman’s Choice, a gun shop in Litchfield for over 20 years, and more recently a salesman for Victory Lane. Jeffery was a Sunday school teacher, hunter safety course instructor, and a concealed carry instructor. His favorite job was being a father and a PopPop. He enjoyed hunting and sharing God’s word.
He is survived by his spouse, Jenifer Harbaugh; children, Adam Tarran, Jacob (Lindsey) Harbaugh, Sara Bentley, Megan Thull, Courtney (Chris) Rogers, and Mary Grace Harbaugh; grandchildren, Wrigley McDaniel, Easton McDaniel, Bryson Tarran, Liam Tarran, Waverly McDaniel, Abeilene Harbaugh, Winry Bentley, Letti Jo Rogers, Alice Gates, Killian Rogers, and Mavis Bentley; brothers, William Lester Harbaugh of Gillespie, Charles Edward Harbaugh of Arkansas, Douglas Lee (Michele) Harbaugh of California, and Chuckie (Amber) Harbaugh of Gillespie; and sister, Cheryl Ann Force (Dave) of Benld.
Jeffery was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Oliver McDaniel; son in law, Andrew Bentley; and sister in law, Shirley Harbaugh.
Friends may call on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at First Baptist Church, Gillespie from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services are Monday, October 25, 2021, at First Baptist Church, Gillespie at 11:00 a.m. COVID 19 guidelines will be followed including mandatory masks.
Memorials are suggested to the wishes of the family or the First Baptist Church of Gillespie. Kravanya Funeral Home, Gillespie is in charge of the arrangements.
