An officer was dispatched to the 700 block of First Street for a report of loud music. Jason A. Schalk, 35, of Gillespie was issued a citation for disturbing the peace.
Officers were dispatched regarding a report of someone who had jumped out of a vehicle and may need medical assistance. An ambulance was requested to be paged out to check over the male.
MONDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2019
Justin C. Grider, 36, of Gillespie was arrested for possession of methamphetamine. He was transported to Macoupin County Jail.
Earl T. Schofield, 31, of Modesto was cited for failure to activate his turn signal, driving while license is suspended, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
An officer was dispatched to 405 East Walnut Street to take a report of criminal damage to property.

An officer was dispatched to the 2000 block of Staunton Road to take a report of a runaway. Once officer was on scene child had returned home.

An officer was dispatched to the Police Department to speak with a male being threatened over the phone.

Robert D. Sanson, 28, of Gillespie was arrested for violating an order of protection and was transported to the Macoupin County Jail.
An officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Madison Street for a female driving by and yelling profanities at another female.
Melisa J. Middleton, 36, of Benld was issued a citation for truancy.
Samantha N. Cuevas, 29, of Benld was issued a citation for truancy.
Brendon S. Parish, 21, of Litchfield was issued a citation for possession of cannabis.
Austin M. Reese, 21, of Carlinville was issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2019
Gerald L. Boyles, 62, of Gillespie was issued a citation for driving while license is suspended.
An officer was dispatched to the 700 block of Donaldson Street for a well being check and keep the peace.
An officer was dispatched to the 500 block of West Baker Street for a domestic dispute.
Officers were dispatched to TJ’s in Mt.Clare to take a report of a stolen vehicle. The truck located was located a short time later in the 200 block of Short Street in Benld. The case is still under investigation.
All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
