SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 8, 2015
An officer on patrol was waved to stop by the tennis court where two individuals laying on the ground. They were involved in a fight, but the other three individuals had already left the scene. An ambulance was paged and the two injured were transported to a hospital. The three that left the scene were contacted and interviewed. All five juveniles received a citation for fighting.
Officers were called to the 200 block of S. Macoupin by a female who said a male wanted the title to his vehicle that her father worked on, but she did not have it. The father who did the work was contacted and said his daughter was wanting to buy the car and the title was in a safe. They were advised this was a civil matter.
MONDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2015
Officer was called to the 400 block of Western Ave for a domestic/child visitation issue. The male was at the police department with the children. His wife had pushed him away and wanted him to leave the residence. No charges were filed.
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2015
Herbert P. Roeske, 42, Mt. Olive was arrested on a warrant out of Montgomery County for failure to appear on a driving while license suspended citation. He also received another citation for driving while license suspended from Gillespie Police. He posted bond and was released.
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2015
A male juvenile, 16, Gillespie was cited for disobeying a traffic control device.
Eric D. David, 28, Carlinville was arrested on a warrant out of Greene County for failure to appear. He could not post bond and was transported to Macoupin County jail.
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2015
Officer was called to the 100 block of Henry for a domestic involving a male and female. The male started an argument over not being able to find the car keys. The male left for the rest of the day. No charges filed.
Andy P. Harvill, 21, was cited for having no insurance.
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2015
Diana O. Augustine, 61, Plainview was cited for speeding 42 MPH in a 30 MPH zone.
Officer took a report from a male who had his rear license plate stolen.
Andrew K. Ridens, 26, Gillespie was arrested for warrants out of Macoupin County, Montgomery County and Madison County. He was also charged for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia by Gillespie Police. Ridens was transported to Macoupin County jail.
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2015
Gillespie officer assisted Benld officer and the ambulance crew for a combative male who needed his medication. He was eventually transported to a hospital.
Officer took an accident report from a male who hit a tree while turning on Second Street from Clark Street. No injuries were sustained.
