MONDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2015
Bernice Prather, 68, Gillespie was cited for intoxication after an officer was called to a business in the 500 block of Broadway.
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2015
Officer was called to the 700 block of Second Street where a child was bitten by a dog. The dog was picked up by Macoupin County Animal Control to be quarantined due to expired vaccines.
Officer was called to the 500 block of East Elm Street after a male subject smashed a female’s windshield with a brick. Thomas Charles Barksdale, 19, Gillespie was arrested for criminal damage to property and transported to Macoupin County jail.
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2015
Jill Smith, 41, Gillespie was cited for nuisances after having several bags of trash setting in the yard.
Officer was called to the 700 block of Gillespie Avenue by a male who had been locked out of his house. The female was contacted and since there had been a previous argument, the female unlocked the door and got her belongings to stay somewhere else at that time.
Elizabeth Lovesey, 20, Gillespie was cited for having no insurance.
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2015
Officer was called to the 300 block of North Macoupin where he met with a male and female. The male, Dustin W. Bramley, 35, Staunton was cited for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9. 2015
Officer took a report from a female in the 100 block of Park Avenue who said someone hit her vehicle while it was parked in her driveway.
Cassandra M. Cathorall 22, Rockport was cited for speeding 46 MPH in a 30 MPH zone.
Crystal Avery, 34, Gillespie was cited for having no insurance.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2015
Christian N. Schlotmann, 23, Gillespie was cited for electronic communication device while driving.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2015
Officers were called to Staunton Road at Charles Street for a vehicle that went into a deep ditch. Jonathan D. Genisio, 29, Gillespie was taken to a local hospital for injuries and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance, improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, failure to notify SOS of address change and failure to wear seat belt.
