FRIDAY, JUNE 1, 2012

Candace A. Waugh, 30, Gillespie was arrested on a warrant out of Macoupin County for failure to appear on a DUI charge. She posted bond and was released.

Colby M. Cohoon, 18, Mahomet, IL was arrested on a warrant from Illinois Dept. of Corrections. He was also, cited for illegal transportation of alcohol by a passenger.  He was transported to Macoupin County jail.

Charles Stainback Jr., 42, Shipman was arrested on a warrant out of Macoupin County for failure to appear on a domestic battery charge.  He posted bond and was released.

Officer took a report from a mother who reported her 16 year old daughter was slapped by a 20 year old female.  Battery charges are pending.

SATURDAY, JUNE 2, 2012

Officers responded to the 600 block of Francis St. in the early morning hours where the owner found his back door had been kicked in.  After checking the residence, there didn’t seem to be anything missing.

Joshua M. Davis, 29, Gillespie was cited for operating a vehicle when registration is suspended.

Daniel N. Hernandez, 26, Chicago was cited for having no valid drivers license.

Courtney N. Leonard, 20, Gillespie was arrested on a warrant out of Montgomery County.  She was transported to Macoupin County jail.

Officers were called to the 300 block of W. Pine for a domestic.  The female left the residence for the rest of the night.

Jordan L. Ferratto, 20, Benld was cited for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.

SUNDAY, JUNE 3, 2012

Kyle A. Blom, 21, Litchfield was cited for disorderly conduct after refusing to leave the beer tent after closing hours.

James W. Porter, 21, Carlinville was arrested for pedestrian under the influence of alcohol or drugs and transported to Macoupin County jail.

Joshua F. Hancock, 21, Litchfield was cited for driving while license suspended and having no insurance.

Tammara F. Conlee, 51, Staunton was arrested for failure to signal, reckless driving, failure to report an accident, driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance and disobeying a stop sign.  She was transported to Macoupin County jail.

Jessalynn McCauley, 19, Gillespie was cited for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.

MONDAY, JUNE 4, 2012

Murray B. Carter, 51, Gillespie was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and transported to Macoupin County jail.

Officer stopped a male juvenile, 15, Gillespie out past curfew and cited him for curfew and use of tobacco by a minor.  He was transported to his residence and the mother was advised of the charges.

TUESDAY, JUNE 5, 2012

Officer took a report from a mother who had been receiving harassing phone calls from her daughter’s ex-boyfriend.  He was contacted and told to stop the calls or charges could be filed.

Officer went to the 300 block of Handy to take a report from a female who was being harassed by another female living in the 300 block of Fillmore.  That female was contacted and denied of doing anything.

Officer took a report from a couple who stated that the female’s daughter did not want to stay at the grandparent’s residence while the dad was out of town.  DCFS hotline was contacted and a DCFS caseworker advised to release the child to the grandparents at this time.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 6, 2012

Officer was called to the 500 block of E. Spruce for telephone threats.  They had been getting harassing phone calls for two days and now today the caller threatened their family.  Alton Police were called to go with a family member to get his brother at the suspect’s residence.

Officer was called to the 700 block of South St. to take a report of a child custody issue.  They were told to contact their attorney and to try and obtain an order of protection.

THURSDAY, JUNE 7, 2012

Officer took a report from a resident in the 600 block of Edwards St. stating when she returned from walking her dog, a male subject was standing in her living room.  He left when she asked what he was doing there.  She gave the officer a description of the male but she did not know him. He was not found at that time.

Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of Francis for a domestic between a brother and sister.  The sister had left the residence by the time the officer arrived.  The sister, also started an argument with the brother’s girlfriend but neither wanted to press charges at this time.

Officer was called to the school by a mother who was having custody issues with the father of her child.  She was able to pick up her child with no problems.

FRIDAY, JUNE 8, 2012

Willie L. Griffin, 46, Benld was arrested for improper parking on roadway, failure to signal when required, illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver and driving under the influence of alcohol.  He was transported to Macoupin County jail.  His passenger, Robin L. McDaniel, 47, Benld was cited for illegal transportation of alcohol by a passenger.

Officer took a report from a male who was having custody issues with the mother of his child. The mother of the child did not want the child taken out of the area at the time the father had visitation time.
