MONDAY, MARCH 26, 2012
Daniel R. Sawyer, 34, Gillespie was arrested on a warrant out of Macoupin County for failure to appear on driving while license suspended. He, also, had a warrant out of Montgomery County for failure to appear for a speeding charge. He was transported to Macoupin County jail.
Carrie L. Vercoglio, 42, Benld was arrested for operation of vehicle with suspended registration, operation of vehicle with expired registration and having no insurance. She posted bond and was released.
Officer took a report from a male who reported receiving numerous phone calls and text messages from his wife who he is separated from. She was, later contacted and advised not to call anymore.
TUESDAY, MARCH 27, 2012
Officer took a report from a female who reported an ex-boyfriend would not leave her alone and keeps calling and texting her cell phone. The male was contacted and advised that if he continues to call, charges could be filed.
Officer was called to the 200 block of E. Elm for a domestic between a female and her boyfriend. He left the residence for the rest of the night.
Officer was called to the 300 block of Henry for a domestic. The female advised she wanted to press charges against the male for domestic battery but a little later said she didn’t want to press charges. He left the residence for the rest of the night.
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 28, 2012
Officer was called to the 500 block of W. Baker for a domestic where the female came home in the early morning hours and reportedly punched the male in the forehead. She left the residence for the rest of the night.
Danielle M. Morris, 26, Gillespie was arrested for aggravated battery for slapping a male in the face and cutting his face. She was transported to Macoupin County jail.
Officer was called to the 500 block of W. Baker for a female who needed to be served an order of protection. The officer stayed at the residence until a deputy arrived to serve her.
THURSDAY, MARCH 29, 2012
Tabitha M. Pratt, 25, Gillespie was arrested on a warrant out of Montgomery County for failure to appear on an improper use of registration. She was, also arrested for operating a vehicle with an expired registration sticker and driving while license suspended. She posted bond for both the warrant and the driving while license suspended and was released.
Christopher T. Ellis, 20, Gillespie was cited for failure to signal when required.
Officer was called to a business parking lot in the 500 block of E. Elm, where there was a confrontation between two male subjects. When officer arrived, one male had already left the scene. The male there at the business did not want to press charges. The other male was contacted later and stated the other male started it but he did not want to press charges either.

Officer took a report from a male subject who lives in the 100 block of S. Madison and had someone enter his apartment while he was gone and take his television set. This case is under investigation
