TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2011
Officer was called to the CUSD #7 Superintendents Office to pick up a student who was found to have cannabis and paraphernalia in his possession. He was charged with possession of paraphernalia and released to his father at the Gillespie Police Dept.
Dakota L. Northcutt, 17, Bunker Hill was cited for having no insurance.
Gabriel R. Ferratto, 25, Benld turned himself in on a warrant out of Macoupin County for failure to appear on contempt of court charge. He posted bond and was released.
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 2011
Brendan M. Andrews, 18, Worden was cited for speeding 47 MPH in a 30 MPH zone and having no insurance. He told the officer he was being chased by another vehicle. The officer advised him that next time, come directly to the police dept. and report it.
Officer was called to the 500 block of W. Osie for a female bleeding in the middle of the road. The female was located in an alley and advised that she had been jumped by 3 unknown females in an altercation in Carlinville. She was told that she could not stay at the residence she went to, at the Osie St. address. She was transported to her residence and told not to go back to Osie St. She, also refused medical treatment.
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2011
Officers were called to the 600 block of W. Charles for a domestic in progress. When officers arrived and talked to the female, found that the male had been throwing furniture around and kicked a chair where a child was sitting on, in a booster seat. He advised he would take his things and leave and not come back. One of the officers was talking to a female subject when the male went back into the residence and another male was trying to interrupt the officer. Andrew White was charged with Obstructing a Peace Officer by going back into the residence and Charles W. Fortney was charged with obstructing by giving the officer a false name.

Officer took a report from a couple who reported their daughter took money from where the father had it hidden. They were wanting to get a restraining order to keep the daughter from coming to the residence.
Officer was called to the 400 block of Henry to take a report from a resident who discovered the door on his garage was damaged but it was still locked and entry was not gained.
Officer took a report of a resident in the 100 block of Henry where a neighbor had seen a man entered the residence thru a window while the resident was gone. This case is under investigation.
Officer on routine patrol saw a female sitting in a vehicle on Jersey St. facing Oak and stopped to see if she needed assistance. The female was sitting there texting. Michelle L. Wallace, 36, Benld was arrested for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia that was in the vehicle.
Bobbie J. Rolland, 27, Litchfield was cited for having no drivers license.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2011
Officer was contacted by a female who stated that her son and her brother were fighting in the 100 block of S. Macoupin. When the officer arrived at the apartment, the brother said his nephew had already left and they were not fighting.
Male subject came to the police dept. and said that he had been pushed down the stairs at 300 block of N. Adams. He was very intoxicated and said he hurt his back. He was transported to a hospital by ambulance.
A female came to the police dept. to report a family dispute and was arrested on a warrant. Lavonda N. Moore, 44, Staunton was arrested on a Montgomery County warrant for failure to appear on a driving while suspended charge. She was transported to District 18 and turned over to a Montgomery County deputy.
Hugo A. Cazares, 34, Bonanza, Oregon was cited for having no insurance.
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2011
Officer was called to the 700 block of Gillespie for a domestic between a male and female. The female was wanted to get a few of her daughter’s items from the father who lives next door and he wouldn’t give her the items. The father stated he did want the mother to just walk into the residence.
Officer was called to the 300 block of N. Adams St. to take a report of a stolen bicycle. When making contact with his mother, he said that she knows who took the bike and that person would be bringing it back.
